Mango Mini Vacay {Day Numero Dos}

(Check out Mango Mini Vacay day one - here)

On day two of our getaway, Cruz and I woke up early and decided to go on a walk around the resort while Nick got some sleep. Secretly, I just really wanted an excuse to go and snag a No Bake cookie bar from the bakery without judgment from the hubs, but used the guise that I wanted to let little man walk around. It worked. And the cookie bar? It was all that I had dreamed it would be.

Loved the wolf!

After some shenanigans I took him back to the room to get him ready to go swimming with daddy, so I could get ready. It was so nice to have the room to myself and take in some TV and coffee.

Once we were all ready, we packed up and headed to Kaufman Field for the Royals game. It was Cruz's first professional baseball game, so we were all stoked to get there. We sought out a place to get a Royals shirt for Cruz and then roamed the concession area making our plan of all the stadium treats we were going to eat. I almost love stadium food as much as I love movie theater concessions, so I was super pumped. And it didn't disappoint. We had a hot dog, brat, peanuts, nachos and a nice ice cold beer for Nick and I. By far my best meal on the trip.

After the game, the weather was too nice to go back and swim indoors, so we headed to the Plaza to walk around and do a bit more shopping - again, shipped the hubs off to McCormick and Schmicks for some whiskey while we shopped. As long as he has cocktails and baseball, I could get away with shopping for hours, but I didn't need that long. It was here I hit up H&M and picked up some great finds for all three of us. Then we headed back to Legends area to Yard House for dinner, coloring and a couple more beers.

Coloring these days....so intense
We got back to the hotel and were pretty spent from spending the afternoon in the sun, so we opted to take in story time in the lobby and then hit up the arcade. This was by far the cheapest part of the trip....we didn't need to purchase one token but C had the best time playing all the games. It was a great end to a perfect day.

Guess someone didn't have enough No Bake cookie....
I know how you feel buddy.
