Dreaming of Palm Trees & Stalking Celebs

I can hardly contain my excitement for the sister trip Tessa and I are planning to LA this summer. If you can believe it, we've never - NEVER! - went on a trip together, just the two of us.  We've traveled together plenty over our 31 (almost 32 - she's older, don't forget that) years on this planet, but never just her and I, the two amigas.

Don't get me wrong, we've had fun together. Like here with my future husband, Gavin.

she was looking like her hot, svelte self.

I am just plain giddy as I think of all the shenanigans that are going to take place and the memories we are bound to make. I've never been to LA - yes, me the lover of all things celeb, religious US Weekly connoisseur, chronic dreamer of sunny weather - and I couldn't think of someone I would love to travel with more than her.

The icing on the cake? We are going to see Mrs. Carter herself, Beyonce. Talk about two grown women who will be brought down to starstruck teenager status. I can hear the squealing now.
